Contemplation

This peice, like almost all of my other ones, was drawn by my pencil -- not me.
I think when I started drawing, with the egg, I was thinking more along the lines of depicting a tired soul (it was going to be very abstract). Then, somehow, a claw appeared, and then a tail, and then my pencil drew a beaky face examining the object now obviously going to be an egg, an then everything somehow got connected together. I think my pencil has a mind of it's own...

Anywho, after my pencil was done drawing, I stopped, and I looked at the picture. To me, I looks a lot a contemplation of the life of an unborn child...pro-life, pro-choice...that kind of thing. So that is just how I interpreted it at first glance. I honestly don't know what to make of this peice.
